Message You could do like Steve said and have the stock ones checked. The stock rods are good but the Eagles are lighter and you can get them from Racesearch.com for ~$500.
Don't bother with JE pistons if you are not overboring your engine. get a new set of stock ones and have them coated by swaintech.
Now is the time that I reccomend you buy a compressor. You can get one for ~$300 with some tools. With the compressor you can port the upper& lower intake yourself. You can also port the intake/exhaust ports of your heads then let a machine shop clean up the bowls if you want. It is easy to port yourself trust me. If you are going to spend ~$10k on your engine get the compressor!
Lay off the cams because then you have to get the springs to match. Otherwise you open yourself up for valve float. If you want to get oversized valves that is good but no need for bronze guides and titanium retainers.
If you have never rebuilt a motor I would advise letting a machine shop do it or getting their assistance.
